Abstract
Implementation of new standards and advanced performance test methods for asphalt mixtures allow for more reliable evaluation of their properties and prediction of pavement durability. It opens new possibilities for application of local or alternative mineral aggregates, which properties are considered as weaker or uncertain. Paper presents testing of High Modulus Asphalt Concrete with various aggregates. Mixtures were subjected to performance tests such as rutting, stiffness modulus, fatigue, resistance to water. Aggregates considered as weaker were evaluated as applicable for High Modulus Asphalt Concrete.
