Declaration of accessibility

Declaration of accessibility of the rabdim.pl website

The Road and Bridge Research Institute, as the publisher of the Journal “Roads and Bridges - Drogi i Mosty”, undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities.

The accessibility declaration applies to the rabdim.pl website.

Date of publication of the website: 09-2012

Date of last significant update: 01-06-2024

Status of digital accessibility

The website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to incompatibilities or exclusions listed below.

Inaccessible elements and contents:

  • Scientific articles posted on the website in the form of closed PDF files do not contain text alternatives for non-text content. This is due to the specificity of the website and the properties of the format. Providing access to this function involves very high costs, which we have assessed as an “undue burden” as described in the Digital Accessibility Act. If you need access to this content, please contact us and specify exactly which documents you are interested in, and we will provide you with an alternative form of access.
  • Archived documents published on the website before 23 September 2018 are not available. If you need access to these documents, please contact us and specify exactly which documents you are interested in and how we should adapt them.
  • Most of the graphics items on the website do not have text alternatives.

Preparation of the accessibility declaration

The accessibility declaration was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment checking by the Road and Bridge Research Institute.

Date of preparation of the accessibility declaration: 01-06-2024

Date of the last review of the declaration: 10-12-2024
