Dynamic analysis of composite beam bridges along Polish highspeed railway line ”CMK” at conditions of increased train velocities of 160÷250 km/h

Marian Klasztorny

Abstract

Description of modeling of the composite beam bridges of the single-track, single-span, simply-supported type, loaded by moving high speed train is presented in the paper. The analysed 2D model of the bridge – track – moving train system, takes into account a sectorially-prismatic cross-section of the superstructure, deformable transient zones of the track, nonlinear elastic-damping properties of the ballast layer, nonlinear elastic properties of the fasteners, the first- and second-stage suspensions of rail-vehicles. The results of dynamic analysis of the series-of-types of the Polish highspeed railway line ”CMK” composite beam bridges are presented for service velocities of 160÷250 km/h and span lengths of the range 14.40÷29.40 m. The computations have been performed with the original author’s programme, DYRAB2, useful for simulation of vertical vibrations of bridge – track – moving train systems. The dynamic effort of steel plate main girders is assessed from the simplified load capacity condition, taking into account high-cyclic fatigue. Assessment of stability of the track on the bridges is based on the vertical vibration amplitudes of the sleepers.
