Based on the “Journal Citation Reports” 2025 edition published on the Web of Science bibliographic database website, the Editorial Board of the quarterly journal “Roads and Bridges – Drogi i Mosty” is pleased to announce a significant increase in the journal’s citation metrics compared to previous years.

The Impact Factor (IF) for 2025 reached a value of 1.1, which represents nearly a twofold increase compared to 2024, when it was 0.6, and more than a twofold increase compared to 2023, when it was 0.5.

The five-year Impact Factor (5-Year IF), which measures the average number of citations to articles published over the preceding five years, also increased in 2025 to 0.9, whereas in 2024 it was 0.6. This 50% increase confirms the steady strengthening of the journal’s position within the scientific community.

Higher IF values, resulting from the growing number of citations of published articles, also indicate increasing interest in the findings of the conducted and reported research, and consequently a steadily growing scientific impact of the journal.

The observed clear improvement in the indicators is largely the result of both the high quality of the papers published in the journal and the commitment of the authors, reviewers, members of the Editorial Board, and editors.
