We would like to inform you that the Impact Factor (IF) for the Journal “Roads and Bridges – Drogi i Mosty” for the year 2024 reached the value of 0.6, which means an increase compared to the year 2023, when the value of this indicator was 0.5. This is a positive signal indicating the growing recognition of the journal and the greater impact of articles published in it on the scientific and technical community.

The value of the IF5 indicator, taking into account the average number of citations from the five years preceding the year of analysis, also amounted to 0.6.

The Impact Factor is a bibliometric indicator of citations of scientific journals, calculated annually by Clarivate as part of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) database. This indicator reflects the average number of citations that articles published in the journal received in a given year in the two previous years. For example, the IF for the year 2024 is calculated on the basis of the number of citations from 2024 to articles published in the years 2022-2023, divided by the number of these articles.

The obtained results indicate a systematic increase in the importance of “Roads and Bridges – Drogi i Mosty” on the map of scientific and technical journals in the field of civil engineering, geodesy and transport, architecture and urban planning, as well as materials engineering and safety sciences. The increase in citation rates is the result of a consistent editorial policy focused on the substantive quality of published works, as well as the active involvement of the authors, reviewers and collaborators. The publisher of the journal is the Road and Bridge Research Institute.
