Static and dynamic behaviour of cable stayed pedestrian bridge in relation to different type of stay cables

Abstract

The result of a static and dynamic analysis of cable stayed pedestrian bridge is presented. Three different types of cables were considered (tension rod, full locked cable, bundle of 7Φ5 strands). The paper presents influence of stay cable type on the static deflections and dynamic behaviour of the bridge deck and stays. A non linear step by step analysis was used to develop the response of structure under the impulsive load.
