  We are pleased to inform that for the first time in its history the “Roads and Bridges – DrogiiMosty” quarterly has received the Impact Factor (IF) index in the Web of Science database. This prestigious parameter represents the frequency of citations of an average article published in the journal in the previous two years (Impact Factor) or in the previous five years (5-year Impact Factor). IF calculated for the RaBDiM quarterly for 2022 equals 0.5; the 5-year IF equals 0.7.

  The aim of this special issue is to summarize the progress of theoretical and computational research in the field of bridges by applying new disruptive techniques for Data Analytics. Topics of interest include damage identification, SHM, Machine Learning, Big Data, IoT, Computer Vision and Digital Twins. The evaluation of condition assessment under critical situations such as extreme winds and temperatures, earthquakes and floods is also a topic of interest.
