Abstract

The paper presents a new approach to modelling of urban transport traffic flow. The model concerns a characteristic fragment of transport network. This approach grasps the specificity of urban transport traffic flow that is understood as being located between totally free and automatic traffic flows. Two original models - a deterministic and stochastic - are proposed in the paper. A survey of methods applied in modelling of traffic flow is also given. Moreover the paper presents and compares selected examples of results of calculations according to the models.
